They have extensive experience in the harm-reduction field and are dedicated to compassionate service for those who are in need. The staff at After Hours provides assistance in many languages, and is comprised of engaged members of the community.

Physician Assistant

Mike Duncan works directly with clients in the Expanded Syringe Access Demonstration Program (ESAP), providing clean needles and prevention information for HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis-C in Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Mike started his harm reduction career as a volunteer needle exchanger in Berkeley, California. He is now a licensed Physician’s Assistant who can provide a range of services to injecting drug users. In addition to AHP, he also works with clients at CitiWide Harm Reduction in the Bronx and at VOCAL Users Union.

Mike lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn. This special connection with the neighborhood allows Mike to better engage community residents in need of services provided by AHP.
