They have extensive experience in the harm-reduction field and are dedicated to compassionate service for those who are in need. The staff at After Hours provides assistance in many languages, and is comprised of engaged members of the community.

Peer Educator

Marina Fernandez is a member of the outreach team at After Hours Project, Inc. (AHP). She has been with the organization since August, 2008. Marina’s focus is on educating and empowering participants to become peer educators themselves, thereby spreading their gained knowledge throughout their social networks. In addition, she works directly with clients by distributing clean needles and condoms.

Marina has worked in the field of harm reduction for several years. Before joining AHP, she worked as a Peer Educator for Turning Point in Brooklyn.

Marina lives in Brooklyn with her family.
