They have extensive experience in the harm-reduction field and are dedicated to compassionate service for those who are in need. The staff at After Hours provides assistance in many languages, and is comprised of engaged members of the community.

Mobile Driver

Luis is the Mobile Driver for the Medical Transportation Program at After Hours Project, Inc. (AHP). He joined the organization in April, 2011 as a Peer Educator and was quickly promoted to the Mobile Driver position. He works directly with clients who are HIV positive and transports them to their medical appointments.

Prior to AHP Luis worked for JP Morgan Chase for fourteen years as a Mail Clerk. His ability to get along with everyone has allowed him to engage individuals in conversation and assist them with needed services. Luis is a hard worker and very dedicated to helping others. Although, Luis is new to the field he takes advantage of his listening skills and helps others and links them to needed health and social services.

Luis was born in El Salvador and now lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
